Mission & Values

Mission

To support and help expand the ministry of Christian Care by teaching generous giving, securing philanthropic gifts and administering such gifts with biblical principles.

Values

1) Prayer Understanding that God's will for us in Christ Jesus is to pray continually (1 Th. 5:17), we will seek God's guidance and direction in all aspects of the Foundation's daily activities. We will pray for our ministry partners, pray for our residents, and pray for our employees.

2) Abundance God, "who works within us to accomplish far more than we can ask or imagine" (Eph 3:20), has an infinite abundance of resources and the Holy Spirit is the one who motivates us to be generous with these resources. Therefore, we promote cooperation rather than competition among organizations and place the giver's relationship to God above the Foundation's agenda and needs.

3) Teaching "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." (2 Tim. 3:16) Therefore, we will provide opportunities for our constituents to grow in their relationship with God through teaching, prayer, philanthropic gifts, and volunteer service.

4) Stewardship All Christians are called to live lives of stewardship, as managers of all that God has entrusted to them. (1 Cor. 4:1-2) Therefore, we will be prudent with our use of funds and will seek to inspire trust with the wise use of all gifts.
